Vision Statement

The objective of the Neighbourhood Development Plan (NDP) is to ensure that the objectives, aims and wishes of Barrowford residents, businesses and community organisations are given authority, weight and full consideration by Pendle Borough Council, as the local planning authority, in accordance with the approved Core Strategy.

Purpose of this page

Here you will find up-to-date and historical information on the development of Barrowford's Neighbourhood Development Plan.  The plan is created by Barrowford Parish Council with the involvement of Barrowford residents, businesses and community organisation in an iterative and incremental process from the initial draft document to adopted final document.  We hope to present the full life-cycle of this process here.

To help with this process we have set up a Facebook Group for discussion and a document repository to keep all documents associated with our Neighbourhood Development Plan.  If you would like to join the Facebook group then please ask for an invite - you must be a resident, or have a business address in Barrowford to join.
